Posament knot P19

Rectangular decoration knot made from spiral silver wire, approx. 20mm x 20mm.

Reproduction of the knot P19 from Birka grave 1125. The knot was fastened at the end of a silk strip. The original is approx. 19mm x 22mm and braided from spiral silver wire.

The spiral silver wire is made by myself. Just like the originals I wind very thin silver wire around a silk core.
