Small cross knot P16a

Decorative knot in the shape of a symmetrical cross made from double wire. Size approx. 9mm x 9mm.

Reproduction of P16a from Birka grave 524. The original is made from double gold wire, size approx. 9mm x 9mm. Found together with the threefold and the big cross knot in the chest area of the grave.

There were further posaments and tablet woven trims in the rich chamber grave.
